Lower Back Pain

Lower back pain is a common complaint among adults, affecting nearly 80% of people at some point in their lives. There are many causes of lower back pain, including strain or injury to the muscles and ligaments, herniated discs, osteoarthritis, and spinal stenosis.

To alleviate lower back pain, it is important to maintain good posture, engage in regular physical activity and exercise, maintain a healthy weight, and manage stress. In addition, avoiding activities that put excessive strain on the back, such as heavy lifting with poor form or repetitive motions, can help prevent lower back pain from recurring.

Chiropractic, physiotherapy and massage therapy can be effective in managing lower back pain. If your back pain is severe or persistent, it is important to see a professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

In some cases, surgery may be necessary to treat lower back pain. However, this should only be considered as a last resort, after all other treatment options have been exhausted.

In conclusion, lower back pain is a common problem. Taking care of your back by maintaining good posture, exercising regularly, and avoiding activities that put excessive strain on your back can help keep you pain-free.
